Friday Finds




This week my Friday Finds are all books that I found while browsing online, and they have been added to my wish list.

Sweet Mandarin by Helen Tse - (subtitle) The Courageous True Story of Three Generations of Chinese Women and Their Journey from East to West

Forgive Me by Amanda Eyre Ward - A novel about a journalist dealing with issues in post-apartheid South Africa.

Suspicions of Mr. Whicher by Kate Summerscale - A true crime story that took place in England in 1860.

Shoot the Moon by Billie Lets - 30 years after his mother was murdered a son tries to solve the mystery. This is a novel.

Measure of the Heart by Mary Ellen Geist - The author's account of two years spent taking care of her father who had Alzheimer's.

Museum of Human Beings by Colin Sargent - Historical novel about Jean-Baptiste Charbonneau, the son of Sacagawea

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne - Novel about a 9 year old german boy who befriends a boy his age from a Nazi concentration camp.

Boy in Striped Pajamas is really moving! I have the Mr Whicher book on my TBR lsit as well.
